Question: Why are the politicians in Jeff City so dead set against the will of the people?

Answer: Special interest groups.

Question: What do they have that makes their voices worth more than our votes?

Answer: Money.

With the passage of SB22, the “Let Politicians Lie Act,” out of the Missouri House and Senate, the Respect MO Voters amendment to ban Missouri politicians from attacking the will of the people is more important than ever. We need to stop politicians’ outrageous power grab. Because of SB22, we will not get another chance to do this urgent work.

Campaigns like ours typically require millions of dollars to succeed. Respect MO Voters is protecting citizens' freedom to petition with an army of volunteers freely giving their spare time and talents, but our campaign still requires things that cost money like legal fees, technology, polling, events, and materials.

Since our strength is in our numbers, we can crowdsource this cost. Our coalition needs to raise $300,000 by the end of June to start gathering signatures on July 1. If each person reading this email can get 10 friends to contribute $20 each ($200 total), we WILL make this happen and BAN Missouri politicians from attacking the will of the people.
